You Shine! More challenges this week!

I'll be away next week visiting my grandson and 2 very large Great Danes in Niagara Falls while my daughter and her husband go on their Southern Caribbean cruise. Poor kids, having to leave the cold and snow to hit the warm turquoise waters of the Caribbean. Can you imagine? Can't help but feel bad for them.
So while lamenting for them I felt a sudden wave of creativity  and decided to join in on the Peachy Keen Challenge. Then I found more! 4 challenges in one week.........what has come over me?
 Challenges:
Peachy Keen Stamps :: Sketch Challenge 46
Paper Crafting Journey Challenge 4
Top Tip Tuesday
Shelly's Images Blog-Lets Play with Ribbon
Southern Girls Challenge
Party Time Tuesdays-Anything Goes
Recipe:
8.5x11 Pastel yellow cardstock for card base. Colorblock from WalMart
Scrap pieces of bright yellow  & blue cardstock

So while I sit in gloomy cold Niagara Falls, New York  doing my duty as a grandmother I can look at my sunny card......and dream! Oh, my daughter tells me "You have the fireplace" KIDS!
Have a great week everyone!

Scrappy Moms Terrific Tuesday Challenge

Can you even believe it! Three posts this week but I couldn't resist to take on this Scrappy Moms Terrific Tuesday Challenge. I love the Create a Critter cart. It is so much fun! So here is my crafty creation:
I adore penguins and this one is super sweet. You can't tell from the picture but he is mounted on a Action Wobble so he is a dancin' penguin. Of course he has that adorable Peachy Keen face. His feet and beak have a coating of Glossy Accents. The heart ballon is cut from Once Upon a Princess. The red bling was set with my trusty & beloved Irock. The paper is from DCWV Black Current Stack and the sentiment was from My Creative Time.
Now if I can just win these stamps :-)!
Thanks so much for looking! Drop by again soon!

B-day card with my PK Princess Faces

I finally got my Peachy Keen Princess Faces in the mail last week! Not that they were slow coming...I just couldn't order them before this. Sooo excited as I just love those precious little faces. So just by luck it happened I had a precious little girl to make a birthday card for so without wasting a second I jumped right in and made this:
Recipe:
Peachy Keen Princess Faces
Paper Doll Dress UpCart
Once Upon a Princess Cart
DCWV paper +scraps from my stash
Stickles
Various Martha Stewart Punches
Flowers I found in the Wedding section of Micheals (on clearance of course!)
Scrap Tulle for the skirt
Pink ribbon from Micheals
Bling from my Irock collection,
Action Wobble to make my ballerina dance
I think she really turned out cute & was a real hit at the Birthday party. Guess this means I will have to use the Paper Doll Cart on a regular basis, so darned cute. Those PK faces make such a difference. Also had to order more of those Action Wobbles as my free stash is running short. I am truly addicted to them.
Guess I had better put the computer away and force myself to stay out of the craft room for a few hours while I clean house. We have yet another snow storm today so it is a perfect day for cleaning and crafting and if I hurry I can get a few hours to make another card! Gee I might even clean up my messy room and make a update video on my craft room!
Later sweet friends!
