It's My Birthday Blog Hop-Day Two

Welcome to Day Two of  Debbie's "It's My Birthday" Blog Hop. As I mentioned yesterday, this is my very first Blog Hop and I want to take the opportunity to thank Debbie for inviting me to participate. I feel so honored! And it has been so exciting!

So are you having a great time? Yesterday we had cake, today it's presents! Now who doesn't love presents? I know I do. I'm especially fond of presents that come in small boxes. They tend to be extra special. So I decided to make a small gift! So small the tag almost hides it! The box itself is a surprise. It is my first attempt at an explosion box and it was surprisingly easy! You can find the tutorial here at Splitcoaststampers.
I wanted to take it one step further and make the inside a little more festive for the occasion so I tried my hand at a cake (I think I'm fixated on inedible cakes! "No Points"- TOO many Weight Watchers meetings!).

2-Spellbinders Nestabilities Scallop Circles (2")
6"x2" strip stamped for side of cake
4 computer generated greetings adhered to sides

It's My Birthday Blog Hop-Blog Candy Alert!

Woooo Who-Blog Hop announcement!

Good morning all! Sure is a dismal day in the Catskills this morning....we have a bit of everything going on. Snow, sleet, ice, rain. The only thing we don't have is sun! As I've been hinting I will be participating in a blog hop next week! So excited I can hardly stand it as it is my very first. Our lovely hostess is Debbie from Creativity Heals. You must check out her newly designed blog, it's beautiful!
Now for the details you have been waiting for! Then name of the blog hop is "My Birthday Blog Hop" in celebration of Debbie's birthday January 26th. I will let her tell you just what birthday it is. Johanna's celebrating her birthday in a BIG way!

If you aren't familiar with Johanna she is known on Scrapbook.com as Pojjo. Her work is beyond phenomenal, it is truly breathtaking. Her birthday is February 9th and to celebrate she is offering some yummy blog candy. When you view her blog you will find it in Swedish.
