Good Monday morning my crafty friends! Today is the day I officially announce my blog candy winner. If you belong to my Facebook page you already know who it is. Before I get to that I would like to welcome all of my new followers and thank each and every one of you for the very kind comments you left . I do read and appreciate every one of them. I really get impressed when someone outside of the winning area leaves me a comment. I've noticed on many blog hops that those who don't offer blog candy do not have as many comments left as those who do. I really find that sad as this really isn't about blog candy...or really talent for that matter............it is about fun and kindness and making those who work hard feel good! I think I have the greatest followers ever!!

As you may have noticed my blogging has been very sparse but working has taken its toll on this old wretched body! I will definitely try to step it up some.
Remember.....I would like to put together a blog hop in celebration of my 1st blogaversary and my ?0th birthday....it comes after...59 *grimmis* Did I REALLY admit to that?? LOL..........I am not complaining friends....5 years ago I had a 40% chance of celebrating that BIG number. I've beaten the odds and I am very happy to have lived each and every one of those years and I am aiming for at least 30 more! I've kicked Cancer Ass!!

Blog Candy

My final project is a layout I made as part of a Storyboard I made for my Scrapbooking Class at Michael's Arts & Crafts. Its a baby boy layout, something I rarely do on this blog! Take a good look for it is most likely my last as my passion is in cardmaking, The cuts are from New Arrival and the papers are scraps from my stash. The frames are cut and embossed using  my Spellbinders die cuts. The brads on the banner pulled by the plane spell "baby". I found those at Ollies for .99...if you have a store near you it is worthwhile checking out. They don't have a lot but every now and then I find a great deal.

Our mission over the next three days was to create baby themed projects,
My second project is a baby boy card. I designed this using the weld feature on my Gypsy and absolutely loved the way the edge "boy" turned out, The carriage was cut 4 times and glued together to give it more dimension. The buggy bonnet was embossed using the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder. Don't you love those little blue safety pins? I found those for .99 at  Ollies and just fell in love with them. The lacey trim was purchased in the dollar bin at Joann Fabrics.

 This is a Triple twist easel card made for the lucky mom of twins-a girl and a boy! I had so much fun creating this card with all the pastel papers and pretty cricut cuts and punched trims.My papers are:
Debbie Munn-Baby Girl
DCWV-Nursery
WalMart Pastel Cardstock
The cuts are from the Cricut Cartridge: New Arrival.All cuts were cut numerous times and layered to give added dimension and mounted on pop dots. Some of the cuts were embossed using Cuddlebug folders.
