Happy Spring my bloggy friends and welcome to Gina & Tisha's Bunny Hop .If you came from Sarah's blog then you are hopping in the right direction. If you just happened upon my blog why not join us at the beginning so you don't miss a thing! I wish to thank Gina & Tisha for the great opportunity to participate with all of these wonderfully talented ladies! I feel so honored. Did you see that Robyn..the one and only Pink Stamper has sponsored the blog hop and has given Gina and Tisha a set of her great stamps to give away? Our mission was to create anything with an Easter Theme. Can you even believe it? Winter is behind us, the grass is turning green and the tulips are making their annual appearance. I love spring! I love to watch the earth come out of hibernation and just bloom in all its splendid colors!
For my project I chose to show the baskets and favors I made for the Grandchildren for Easter. They are easy and so pretty. I think the kids will love them!
I had all good intentions of making a video for the Blog Hop but unfortunately I ran out of time So take a look and if you like what you see I will make the video...promise!
All of the baskets were made out of 1-8x11.5 piece of card stock. Most of them were embossed using a variety of Cuddlebug embossing folders and the handles were made using a variety of Martha Stewart Punches.
Every basket was made from WalMart Card stock. The pastel pack
embosses perfectly! The green basket was embellished using Spellbinders Scalloped Circles and MS Butterfly Punch.
The purple basket has a Spellbinders scalloped circle resting upon a rosette
The blue, my personal favorite, was embossed then a border made with the MS Heart Border Punch was added around the entire border of the basket. The handle is a smaller MS heart punch.
The pink basket is the only basket that I didn't emboss. Instead I added Spellbinder Scallopped Squares, embossed them and embellished with them with the easter figures cut from Easter 2010.
The last set of baskets are smaller, both with borders made from MS Punches added around the basket. If you look closely, between the two baskets, you will see a treat box, actually a Pentagon Treat Tube. You can find the directions for that little gem right here
The picks were made with Spellbinders Scalloped circle and embellished with cuts from Easter 2010. The cute little faces are from who else, but Peachy Keen!
Okay friends, it's time to hop along but wait.. before you go I have some yummy blog candy for you!
