PURSE INSTRUCTIONS & MY BLOG CANDY WINNER!

Good Monday morning crafty friends! Hope you had a fantastic weekend and enjoyed Mellisa's birthday celebration! I know I sure did!! What great projects everyone did! I had many requests for directions for my little purse so, as promised here they are!
 Supplies:
Pink & black cardstock~both from WalMart
Accent Essentials cartridge however if you don't have that just look for similar shapes on other cartridges
Martha Steward heart punch used in the scallops
2 lg eyelets for the handle
ribbon
2 smaller eyelets to fasten the top to the box of the purse
BOX
Black cardstock cut at 8"x7.5"
Score 1' on both long sides-turn and score at 3" on short sides-clip at these score lines into the 1" line
fold and make into a box.

FRONT & BACK
Cut 2 of each @4",4.5" & 5" (use shadow & real dial size settings)
I embossed my pieces at this point
Assemble both sides, measure .25 down from top and trim to straight edge using your paper trimmer
Attach both sides to the assembled box

TOPPER
Cut scalloped circles 2 of each size @ 4",5" & 6.5" (use shadow & real dial settings)
I used a heart punch and punched into scallops~you can embellish however you wish
Emboss if you wish and adhere all 3 pieces togeather.
Find the middle and score 3/4" on either side.
Put your eyelets in for your ribbon handle`thread & knot ribbon at the length you wish
attach topper to purse bottom using eyelets or brads
Apply a velcro closure~embellish the purse as you choose. I used the Poodle cut from yes....one of my followers guessed it: NIFTY FIFTY'S! Pink Black and Poodles just belong together! Can ya guess the era I grew up in?....lol....well....I was there at the end of it all and can barely remember them.
So there you have it...Easy Peasy!!
I am not the best at directions. Don't EVER take street directions from me, that is unless you have a lot of time for sight seeing! So here is a link to an excellent YouTube video showing you everything you have to know to replicate the purse!

Now for my Candy winner! DRUM ROLL PLEASE!!!!
