Welcome to our Card Carnival Blog Hop! You should have arrived here from our wonderful hostess, Sherry's, blog. If you just happened to stumble upon this hop, please be sure to go back to Sherry's blog so you don't miss any of the wonderful projects we have to share.
First I would like to thank Sherry for allowing me the privilege to work with such incredible talent! It's so exciting!! Wait until you see the imaginative cards my fellow bloggers have for you today.
Our mission was to create a card other than the conventional square or rectangle shape! I just love shaped cards so I found this project really fun!
My card is a teapot! Nothing is as soothing as a good cup of tea shared with a friend!
Recipe:
K & Company Specialty Stack paper
Teapot cut from Once Upon a Princess Cricut Cartridge and welded by my bestie my Gypsy!
Teabag tag was had cut
Sentiment by Pink Design-Spring Has Sprung.
Bakers Twine -purchased at Pink Design
Design edges inked with Tim Holtz Distress Ink

I'm doing the same thing Rebecca is doing. Jumping the gun a bit. Love your teapot card, I made one a few days back, but not near as fancy as yours. Very pretty, love the tea bag hanging in front.

Very pretty!!! I love how you made it with the tea tag hanging out like that. At times I think I am the only person that never made one of these. I am a follower but don't bother with FB any more so I will share a trick I have. I always keep stamps or stickers and envelopes on hand during some special event in case someone comes by and you have nothing to give them so you excuse yourself for a minute (most don't even miss you...think you went to the bathroom) and whip out a card. It saved me from a few awkward situations.
ReplyDeleteLove the teapot! Very cute! I am your newest follower and joined you on facebook as well. Thanks for the opportunity to win some blog candy and I can't wait to see what you create next! Hugs, Angela

Wow - GORGEOUS card. I loveee shape cards and I will certainly be scraplifting the teapot idea (dont own that cartridge though - so will have to use something else) I do not have facebook so my best tips are definitely the use of the gypsy and I love my bone folder to make a nice crisp fold! Thanks for a chance to win the great giveaway and for the inspiration! I am now a follower!
